OfflineAs I troll the web looking for ideas, I download pics and plans that I like so I can refer to them later. Here is one that I like alot, and will make a version of soon. I plan to make it out of a piece of 6x6x3/4 aluminum, a little less than 5" diameter so that I can swing it on my Prazi SD300. I like the radial slot design, mainly because it looks cool. I forget who the original author is, but if I find it later I will post a link to his site. Here are some pics-

And some very well drawn plans-
Enjoy!

OnlineThis is an excellent project by Harold Hall. And I'm with you, the slots are not only functional, they look cool as well. If you click on the link in the previous sentence it will take you to Harold's site where he explains all about his "Alternative to a 4-Jaw Chuck". It's a very cool project.
Oh, and Kudos for figuring out how to post the link to the PDF plans. Most people (including me) had trouble figuring out how to do that the first time around.

OfflineYup, sure enough, I referred you folks to a site that I probably got reffered to from your site. Thats what happens when you get old enough that you can't remember what you had for breakfast-
Thanks for posting the credit where it was due, Tyler- looks like Harold does nice work.

OnlineNo problem. I'm glad you mentioned his project. It's a very cool faceplate/chuck and hopefully it will remind others to check out his site. He's got several other great projects there.
