OfflineBeryllium Copper does have its risk, you must machine it under coolant and never grind or sand it unless it is in a controled inviroment. It actually machines well in its hardened condition HT or AT. The only trouble is drilling, it will squeeze down on your drill. I grind one flute longer on my drill to prevent this. I work with this stuff alot along with Cadmium which is also nasty for your health. I take all safety precautions and have learned a lot of tricks over the years with this type of material.
