Welcome Jock!

We've had a couple of Aussies join today. I wonder if that's just a coincidence or if this site got linked to on an aussie site today.

Anyway, I also took a look at your website that you listed on your profile. How many square feet is the "Men Shed"? It looks huge! Is it some sort of co-op building that you co-own? You said that you've been a member for 5 years, so I was wondering.

In case anyone else is wondering what site/shed we are talking about, here's a link to Jock's site.

Hi

Happy new year

Our shed is 580sq metres and 4metres high. If you remember 2 years ago we had very bad bush fires raged through this area. A lot of money was raised and our building was built on the ashes of these fires with some of this money.

We are fitting out the building now, the woodwork section is complete and the metal work area is underway.

Must update web site with more photos.

Mensheds is an international group dedicated to men's health and well being, there are over 300 sheds throughout Australia now.

Welcome Jock,

Wow, that is a great building- what a lot of room, and you guys have a conference area. You are lucky! Some of us are in tiny basement spaces.

Can't wait to see some of the projects you guys turn out!
