Hi from Waterford,Ontario.Ive been a machinist for a couple of years (1987) and i always seem to have a project on the go.Ive built my own
4'x4' cnc router,12' piggott windmill,drums,guitars,violins,signs etc. Im looking forward to helping out if I can.Also looking forward to getting

Great bunch of people here. Am certain your experience will be a big assist to us beginners. Hey, the only grouch here is Tyler [just kidding :)], and he's mellowed out since he built his gas-powered redneck margaurita mixer!!! :). Anyway, I'm looking forward to your hard-earned tips and ways of making the difficult easier – for me anyway :):)

Welcome Ged! What's a piggot windmill? And did you build the CNC router from any sort of plans? I've been looking at buying or building one. If I buy one it will probably be the ShopBot, but if you know of a nice set of plans that might change things. No hurry tho, I'm up to my neck in projects already!

My friend's Y-Axis looks almost identical to the MadVac – I'll have to ask him if he followed the MadVac design. Checked out the windmill too – good stuff!
