my lathe(G0602) gets here tuesday and what i really need is a ball turner for it, preferably designed like the steve bedair one, would be nice if it was made to cut concave as well. as i have no mill currently there are some parts i just cant do. so what i am looking for is someone who wouldnt mind working with me in making one. we can discuss pricing and what not, please pm or email me.Laugh

As I mentioned in your welcome post, this site shows how to mill on the lathe, http://www.astronomiainumbria……illing.htm

Steve Bedair's ball turner will turn concave and convex balls, the cutting bit, slides along the groove along the centre, then is locked in place with the screws in the side of the tool.

yeah but im pretty sure there isnt one made for the G0602 which means i would have to adapt something to fit it which in turn would probably end up needing milled parts to make that work lol

Yes it is a catch 22, I'm from the UK, and have no idea of the bits and bobs that come with the G0602, however there are lots of people on here who have one.

hmmm that one is interesting. thing is though i would like mine to be able to do up to 2.5" so i think i would lose a lot of rigitity as much as i would have to extend it up and out to make balls that large

How about Little Machine Shop?

They have two sizes, the larger one seems to be out of stock at the moment. I have the one linked to above, seems to work fine.
