Everything is programmed and running smooth. I'm going to add a remote potentiometer.

What potentiometer do I need?

Thanks for any help,

Todd

OK I read this thread again and I had another question if I may. Why 1HP? Is it because its what fit? 2HP would be to big size wise? There isnt a 2HP made? There is no benefit of using a 2HP over the 1HP esp due to cost? Just asking ….

Henry has just updated the PDF with pricing and programming info. If you go to the Yahoo group, probably have to join unless someone can add the new PDF to here, and look in the file section you will see it.

Who's the original author of the PDF? I'd like to add it to the home page but I need to get permission first. Titaniumboy, if you know the author can you have him get in touch with me?

Hi Tyler,

From the first paragraph of the first post:Wink

[Disclaimer: This is not my project, although I hope to do this someday.  This project was done by Henry Arnold on the Yahoo Group 10x22 grizzly and the like, and he has graciously given permission for this reprint.]

I don't know Henry Arnold personally.  I saw his postings and files over on the Yahoo Group and asked permission to repost over here.

Sorry I wasn't more help.

Hello all, rather than start a new thread on VFD/Leeson motor installation to the G0602 lathe I'll add here.  I just completed the installation today.  Works VERY good.

I also had the problem with first start trying to reverse, but hit stop, then start again and it was ok.  I changed C14 to 001 as suggested, and it "seems" to take care of problem.

I had considered doing a complete write up, but the one done by Titaniumboy here, and the pdf by Henry Arnold as well as the installation here: http://rcdon.com/html/the_reve…..3.html#VFD - these cover the installation so well, there is really nothing for me to add.

My next project is working on a tach to monitor RPM.  My plans are to use a 16X2 LCD display with RPM on top line, with Diameter and SFM on bottom line.

Now to work:)

This motor mod is on the near horizon for my G0602.  Question I have, however, is what's up with the linked belts?  Why are they better and where do you get them ?
