Hello:
My name is Barry Y and I am an Atlasholic. When I was a boy the crafts teacher in 5th grade mr. Belcher (yes, that was his real name), took me into the metal shop and showed me the engine lathe. "Do you know how to run this thing Barry?" "Sure, no problem" says I. When he came back into the room the chuck was beating hell out of the tool post. That was an Atlas 10×24 lathe. I have been crazy for Atlas equipment ever since.
So bring your old, your tired, your weak and your scared Atlas equipment. I pay way too much money for Atlas gear in very poor condition. Right now I need a drill press, Wood shaper, 10 Inch Cabinet Saw, and a combination Belt/disk sander.
Thank you,
Barry Y, who really needs to stop with the whole Atlas thing.

Ha! I can totally picture Mr Belcher's reaction! I feel your pain Barry!

OK, scratch the Atlas drill press off the list. Swooped over to Montana and back yesterday to pick one up. I still need a combination sander, floor model drill press, wood shaper, 10 inch cabinetmakers saw, wood lathe and especially an Atlas bench grinder. For parts I need a taper attachment, tailstock and quick change gearbox for the Atlas 10D metal lathe as well as a table locking lever for an MFB horizontal mill. Once I have those I will stop this insanity.
