Tenn, I think you'll find that camera will work very well (despite the color Laugh).

And it takes AAA's, which is excellent! A trip to Costco for some cheap AAA's and you'll be all set and ready to go!

If your camera has a couple of different resolution modes (low, medium, high) I'd suggest trying all 3 and comparing picture quality vs picture size. Ideally you'll want the smalles possible image size (and I'm talking megabytes, not length x width) that is still good quality. I'd suggest taking a picture of a dial indicator and seeing if you can read the numbers on the indicator in all 3 image quality settings. If you can, go with the "low" quality setting, because it's clearly high-enough quality to get the job done.
